Audi RS6 Finance Deals...
Discussion
Specced an RS6 up but unsure as to which colour combo to pick.
Must have's for me are...
21' Titanium Wheels (£2,000)
Gloss Black styling pack (£980)
Privacy Glass (£390)
Not fussed really with any other options, best way to minimise the depreciation element.
Anyway, details of finance below which I'm pretty pleased about. This car is an absolute brute and if you're brave enough to go down the engine remap route, this car will do 60 in less than 3secs, onto a top speed of over 200mph and will go down the 1/4m in the mid 10 sec range. An MRC remap boosting power from the 560 standard upto around 720 for those that choose the tuning path.
For the spec above...
List price - £81,365
Discounted price - £70,338
Saving - £11,027 (13.55% discount)
Guaranteed future value at 36 months = £46,258 which means it is losing £24,080 over 3 yrs, roughly £8,026 per year or £669pm. It is retaining 65.76% of its value at 3 yrs in the spec I have it in at discounted price or 56.85% from its list price.
£5k deposit
35 payments of £770
Total amount payable = £31,970 ( £888 cost per month)
or
£7.5k deposit
35 payments of £693
Total amount payable = £31,755 (£882 cost per month)
You need to take out the Audi finance to get the £3,000 finance discount otherwise the OTRP is +£3k
Interest rate applied 4.8% APR.
I just thought I would share the finance deal above and gather thoughts on what colour spec others prefer and if any extras should be added as a must have. In addition, if anyone has secured better than 13.55% off list price, would you mind forwarding me the details of said dealership.
Cheers,
Mitchy

That's I nice spec. Mine's Red with anthracite wheels. Looks great in the flesh. I was wobbling along the M4 a few weeks ago and came across a blue one and I must admit it looked stunning. The grey doesn't do it for me. They look good in black, Daytona grey is a good colour, but looks a bit like a hurse.
Buy it, you'll love it. The more I drive it, the more I just like driving it. You could tune it, but by my reckoning you'd just press the accelerator a bit less than you normally would, cause there really isn't much opportunity to use fully throttle on the road in standard trim!

Thanks, that's put me off of nardo grey now.
It certainly looks a lot lighter in the pic you have attached though, I considered it due to the below pic that looks a lot better... (Must be the lighting)
I think I'm swaying towards Sepang
Gambo, thanks, yes you are right, more than fast enough standard.

I was sold on Nardo after seeing this, an early press shot (Aussie market I believe)
However, after seeing one in the flesh, I wasn't so keen
Suzuka with the black wheels, styling pack and privacy glass looks very good though
Worth noting also, that even if you don't want to finance it, you can still take the finance for the associated discount and then pay it off completely after a week without penalty
Early close admin fee is circa £100 only
Out of interest, what annual mileage did you use for that GFV ?

The mileage is set at 5000 as for me, it's a 2nd car and not the daily commuting mile muncher. Quote for 7500m was only an additional £15pm but to be honest knowing that it's only going to be used at the weekends and the odd trip here and there, I wont do more than 5k personally.
It's a car that loses quite a bit in year 3 to year 4 though as when increased to 48 months, the monthlies were only £3pm cheaper. Makes sense therefore to do it over 36 months.

I see, I had the mileage set to 20k per year as it'll be my daily if I go that routeIt's a car that loses quite a bit in year 3 to year 4 though as when increased to 48 months, the monthlies were only £3pm cheaper. Makes sense therefore to do it over 36 months.

I've an RS4 currently, but as they're stopping production this summer and I chop mine in every couple of years. There's nothing else out there that floats my boat (tried C63/M3, but not to my liking), I think an RS6 is the way forward
Like you've seen, there's good deals to be had and I could spec one with discounts for circa £75k

It's only downside is its size, it noticeably bigger to drive than an RS4, but it just munches miles. I'm looking at 15-20k miles a year and loving it.
Ironically I'm getting more to the gallon than he is too.

A lot of my general pottering around mileage includes parking in multi storey car parks and places like my local Costa, where parking spots are narrow
The RS6 is notably wider and longer than my RS4, and there's not many things more embarrassing than getting back to your car, and not being able to open the door enough to get it (I'm an averaged sized 6ft/80kg before any smart comments too! haha)
I guess I'll just have to learn to live with it
Realistically, I won't be moving from my RS4 for another 12 months, so let's hope I become better at parking in that time
I agree about the refinement though, I had an RS6 for a week on test, and it was a much more comfortable ride on the air suspension than my admittedly over sprung 4
I agree that the 6 is more refined than the 4 but I didn't buy my RS for refinement, though in comfort and D mode the RS4 is a pretty chilled drive and far more refined than I expected. I prefer its overall size and it is far more nimble than the 6, though I can well believe the 6 drinks less (why didn't they give it a bigger tank?).
If refinement was important to me and I was doing a lot of motorway miles I would a probably be in a high output diesel.

I was in Edinburgh Audi last week and they have two used RS6s. A Red one with the 20s for £65k and a black one with 21s for £80k. The diamond cut 20" wheels are so much nicer to me. The curve on the spokes and finish was just lovely. They look better in real life than in pictures, plus ride better I imagine.
I would spec a black pack to get rid of the chrome trim around the grille and windows.
Suzuka grey is nice but so is Dolphin.

For me the bargain of the range was when I stumbled upon a year old immaculate S8 on 7000 miles at £35k off list with options although Broadspeed were showing £20k off list new. 40HP less than the RS6 (0-60 3.5, 0-100 8.4, 1/4 11.8@118 by Motortrend), similar weight, far more subtle, more comfort biased but I feel mine on its 21" summer wheels is missing nothing compared to my GTR in road use and firm enough and on 19" winters quite hilarious in the snow. I've been collecting info to tune it but might not bother as it is so damn competent already. Lightly used doesn't work well for finance I suppose, but as a cash buy somewhat a bargain compared to RS6 and no one notices it which suits me perfectly. Never could something as fast as this go under the radar so easily.

MitchyRS, hope you don't mind me asking, but where and how did you manage to get such a large discount? I've been into a local dealer today, and the best they could give me on a new order was a reduction of £3.5K.List price - £81,365

I think you're being messed with a little. As a starter, there's an official Audi finance offer with £6K off. The dealer would only have to foot half of that, anyway. If you don't want finance take that offer and pay it off in full in the cooling off period.Brokers Broadspeed and Orangewheels both show discounts of more than £10K https://www.orangewheels.co.uk/enquiries/57b231/en...
I'd try carwow to get quotes direct from dealers. They've usually been very competitive.
