S1 RE-MAP ANYONE ?
Discussion
Hi having just sold my black edition 185ps triptronic for a S1 the S1 feels a little lacking the umph it should have can anyone recommend a proper ecu remap in the west mids / staffs area ?
I will need to remove it as it will avoid the service every 2 years !!
your input will be most welcome.
TIA

I will be interested to see what comments this topic gets as Ive had my new S1 almost a month and Im going to be getting it mapped over winter.
Im more interested in if the clutch needs to be changed, as Ive read that is the weak point and a Revo map will up the power by 100 BHP.
Hmm I was looking into the revo map site this will be too much strain on engine and transmission IMO ?.Im more interested in if the clutch needs to be changed, as Ive read that is the weak point and a Revo map will up the power by 100 BHP.
I have been advised 20/25% gain AS AN ACCEPTABLE SAFE LIMIT that's around 276-280 as the car is new I think this is a more sensible option :-)
