Is the new DSG gearbox a new benchmark for semi-autos?

I don’t know who decided that the TT is a desirable car at Audi, it is just so ugly and even with all it’s tricks it is still slow. 0-60 in over 6 seconds is not really impressive.

Not that much alone in my opinion Gren, take a look at the Audi TT forum, over priced, slow, boring and as common as muck are amongst some of the quotes.

I agree on that side, have only heard bad about Audi UK, a girl friend went and bought a TT and had nothing but problems with it. After a long legal struggle with Audi UK she did manage to give it back and went for an Alfa instead. On the other side of the water here in Germany some owners do seem to think that it is a sports car, but are soon put in their place.

Hi victormeldrew, don’t do it, I don’t know if you have driven one, but it is not fun. They are slow at the take off, no top end and I didn’t even notice that there is a turbo built in somewhere.
