I've just had some new discs/pads fitted to my A4 (3.0 Quattro Avant 2004) in another attempt to get some discs that won't warp. Unfortunately the EBC Yellow Stuff pads that were recommended for them came with no pad wear indicators or slots to insert them into. I now have the very large yellow warning permanently on....anyone know if there's an easy way to disable it?

The people that fitted them just disconnected the cable at some plastic junction about 6 inches up from the pads (old pads are next to me in a box with said cable and junction box attached).
