3.0 Vs 4.2 TDI A8

Guys

I have a 3.0 TDI which is fantastic, but the 4.2 TDIs have come down so much its almost tempting to trade up. Has anyone had both and can comment on quite how much difference it makes, as the numbers on paper look very different.

I guess I could remap the 3.0, but then I could do that to the 4.2......

I had a quick look at mapping this morning. From a quick search of the sites wlling to publish numbers, the 3.0 tdi seems more tunable with a basic remap than the 4.2 tdi, which seemed a little odd. Is this the consensis or have I just stubbled accross rubbish sites

I am in Marlow - any suggestions for mapping gurus

The parking thing is odd. I had a LWB jag for years. The length stopped being an issue at all on about day 2. You never think about it, but everyone who gets in the car commends on how hard it must be to park. It just doesn't seem to matter - and that was without parking sensors!
