Right, I'll apologise now, I'm really sorry guys, but I can't help it... I picked the Chim up this morning from Sportmotive, and drove the 180 miles home with the roof off smile I've had the headlamps faired in, same {similar) as the Griff smile I just wanted to share this because I love the Griff as much as I do the Chim, and I think it looks the tits with the faired in lights... sincerely hope posting a piccie of the Chim on the Griff thread doesn't offend anyone, but as we share the same DNA I couldn't help it...

Apologies again,

Chilli smile

(please be gentle with me)

ETA: I'll delete the post if you guys think it's not appropriate....

To me, these early cars in their original form are starting to look of their time, simple but pure. This is my second Pre-cat and I have really started to enjoy this car now (after beating it into submission by throwing loads of money at it which I will never get back) frown

I agree you really cannot beat a Pre-cat, they are awesome (and I am a 500 owner).

I think you are a 4.3 pre-cat owner with the wrong car smile.......................go on, you know you want to. Just fitted the ACT cherry bomb exhaust with the original pre-cat manifolds.............pretty much spot on sound wise.

LOL I think you may be right. I was originally looking for a pre-cat but I could not find one in good enough condition at the time. I have spent far too much money on my 500 to swap to a pre cat now!

.Hoover on here has a 4.3 with ACT cherry bomb exhaust - it sounds absolutely superb.

Off topic. But what headlight conversion is that and can you still get it? Also your wheels are they sp12 wheels or team dynamics?
Looks great.

Didn't think I would like quad front lamps on a Griff but I have to say they do look pretty cool!

Cheers guys.

The light pods were originally for a chimp (shhhh) with mini side lights but were filled in due to inclusion in dips now. Provided by Fibreon and then blended in, fitted and painted by Aeromotive at Birstall.

The wheels are team dynamics pro race 1.2's in anthracite, 17 front 18 rear.

Give me a pm if you need info.
