Hi Mate
No I think they are original, the car is 2001 and I don't think its been out in the rain! refurb for OZ multispoke wheels can only be done by a company in Germany (IIRC) and is very expensive. I'm a little worried about corrosion during the winter so I am thinking of either a second set of wheels or having the spider conversion done.

I think they were optional right up to the last of the last 100.

I've done some research here and there are a couple of companys in the UK that will refurb your Oz split rims, one is A1 Wheel renovation in Wolverhampton the other is Rimz Refurb in Blythe, cost is approx £100 per rim taking into account they need to be split to be cleaned then re-assembled which includes re-sealing, re-laquering is optional. I'm having mine done whilst it's off the road during the winter.
