I am glad you have nothing more to say than to resort to puerile speculation on my sexuality, it rather implies I had a point.
Bottom line is you don't like TVR's, you may or may not have ever owned one and frankly I don't care either way. You have said you don't like them, we have heard you. What is the point of saying more.
Yet you repeat yourself tirelessly, sniping at people from behind the safety of your keyboard whose dedication to their work and experience you could not come close to even with a lifetime of trying.
This thread had the chance to be useful, even if the topic was not a happy one, but the injection of your bad one line puns, silly put downs and classroom sexism has trashed it. You clearly have the intelligence of a single celled lifeform, so unless you have something constructive to say please return to the swamp from whence you came.
Prat.
Dans, it need not be this complicated or well written. All thet's needed in this instance is a swift "fcuk off Critic you stupid w***ker".
There. Said it for you.

Fair comment, I know a lot about them as you say, the truth is I didn't buy another one because I felt let down by TVR dealers. I loved my TVR's, yes they caused me a lot of problems, but I forgave that aspect due to the driving pleasure, and I drove my TVR's very quickly but never abused them. When my Chimaera was due for a change I contacted several TVR dealers, and I was prepared to spend 30000 on one, and not one contacted me in return. I don't buy privately as I prefer the safeguard you have when purchasing from a dealership, I just hated the fact that when buying new they couldn't do enough for me, when p/exing they didn't give a toss. Perhaps this has turned me against
the marque, and the reliability issues are just an excuse for me to express my dissapointment.
See you do belong here, please just stop repeating youself every post

Now all the rattles have well and truly left their respective prams, thanks for the entertainment boys and girls. A TVR goes and sounds like nothing else for the money. OK, some bits do fall off or fail, but I'll bet buying the same kind of performance from Germany or Italy, or one of those whizz-bang Jap computer things, doesn't give anywhere near the 'bangs-for-the-buck' a car from Blackpool does. I heard a brand-spanking Lamborghini today - sounds pants compared to a TVR. My bosses boss has a 6-month old M3 thats just had a full new engine. Could you really park a Ferrari anywhere without worrying about it? Or afford one without living in a cardboard box? I really don't care if I silicone-seal my car more than my bathtub, I don't care that my car is made from the same plastic as my bath either, its just fast, loud, and scares the cr#p out of me. If a TVR breaks, its going to be cheaper to fix than most cars with half the performance, the only difference with the TVR is its cheaper to buy to start with. Find a decent specialist and keep visiting him. There probably are friday-afternoon cars that fall to bits around you, but you'll get that with any car, Japanese/far eastern possibly excepted. Now, about that mis-firing thats just started...
