That is bizarre as I was sending you an e-mail to you as you were posting this!!!
Good luck with the sale. If you sell it before the Growl just make sure the new owner brings it along.

I thought that too but his profile says "one of the last ever griffs" or something like that.

I still think he should come to Griff Growl though.

Nope I think that was #45.. There was a suggestion that if the owner wanted TVR would make #101 of 100 to replace it.

Not sure if the guy ever took them up on the offer tho.

I saw a Griff on the A3 not long ago it was reg LA03 *** meaning obviously it had not been registered till 2003. Is this the same one for sale here?

The chasis number is the key to the last Griff. LA03*** could be a Jersey reg.

What, you've got one of those numeric key pad immobilisers and used your chassis number as the key? Sounds a bit daft Rich...

Have they changed?
I thought jersey plates were in the "J123" format.

(dont mean to sound sarcastic, I genuinely dont know if they have changed or not!)

My dad's Griffith is LJ03, was probably that one? Was it Imperial Blue? It wasn't registered until 2003.

Jersey Plates are Jnn - Jnnnnnn (currently in the 100000ths). Last year they introduced JSYnnnn - to cash in on the jersey types who wanted a number and would pay good cash for it. JSY 69 belongs to the local aston/bentley/bmw/jeep/mini dealer, currently on a mini.
