Hi,

Firstly, (as I forgot on Saturday night), can I beg a round of applause for the Organisers that helped me with this years Growl.

Ballistic Banana, Mr FlipFlopGriff, Mrs FlipFlopGriff, and Lorraine. Without your help, etc.... I really appreciate it. And especially for Saf (Sharon) who supplied the coasters for you, for free.

Also thanks to James Agger for the Griffith canvas picture for the free raffle, and to Toyo Tyres, for their kind donations to the raffle, which will be posted out to the winners in the next couple of days.

Thanks to all the Vendors and Dealers for giving us an excuse to lighten our wallets, and flex our muscles.

The weather made the weekend really pleasant, I lost count of the number sprawled out on the bank sunbathing!

Apart from a little glitch or two on behalf of the Hotel re the Barbq, I think the venue worked for us.

But mostly, thanks to all you Growlers for turning up and making the weekend so special. We're collating the number at the moment, but it looks like we had 92 Griffiths turn up, plus the Tuscaneers, the Wedge Raiding Party, and a few Chimaeras and Cerberas.

I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and when we've cleared our thoughts, can start to plan for next years event, that is, of course, if you want one.

Yep, wanna extend my thanks to those who put in the time to organise what turned out to be a brill' weekend . Great venue, fantastic weather, fit lasses servin' breakfast and the boozy company of new found buddies, oh, and some rather nice cars too.

Best of all though is that from now on, I can actually picture some of the tossers I'll be responding to

So, your maggitiness, next year?...........I hope so!

It was a lovely relaxed growl.

The Griff and it followers just seems to go from strenth to strenth with it's increasing age.

Hopefully - we can look forward to a decent run out (and DVD) next year.

60 Griff's & other TVR's starting up and heading off for a ruble has got to be done..

We (sorry I) decided against an organised run-out, as last year we had a run from Ashrone to Gaydon, sunday morning, and ended up with cars scattered to all points of the compass. Maybe the BNG may be able to oblige, what with closed streets etc?

I had a simple route organised for theBBWF and some (in front of me) still got lost..

It's still a great idea and fantastic to see - so just needs more management.. I did not do the best job I could do this year with the run out (more help delegate)..

Some of us managed to get out around mid-day for a blast, egged on by the girls who said there is only so long you can spend looking at cars Good call on their part in fact as 8 Griff's rumbled off around a 45 mile loop taking in a pub stop for a shandy or two mid-may. Was good fun! Cheers all Rich...

Indeed thanks to all involved in organising the event, great weekend. I think the blame for the BBQ lays fiarly and squarly with the venue managment. Given that they had number in advance there is no excuse for running out of food at a bar-B. Also... I know some of us would have appreciated a table and chair to sit on, I thought they would have set some out on the grass. Rich...

Let me add my thanks to all you guys who organised this - I know it takes some work to bring off - well done

We had a great time on our first ever meet of any description. My learning curve on the Griff went almost vertical chatting with some of you knowledgeable Griff-ters.

Good to hook up with some real nice folks...oh and you 2Munkys

Mr & Mrs Maggit and BB.

Well done on a superb event. It seems to get better every year, so count me in for next years.

It was good to meet everyone too. Lots of friendly, knowledgable people and the aray of cars, colours etc were great.

Well Done all for making it the event it was!

I'd like to add my thanks to Mr & Mrs Maggit and BB aswell A great event and special thanks for the weather who ever provided that!!

It was great finally to put faces with names... although I think due to the evening celebrations I may have forgotten them again.

A thanks also to Reeso for organising the Essex Convoy and to all participants for a great company on the road and in the bar... Those tunnels on the M25 will never seem the same again

cheers to all
