Just wondering how costly it is to fit the 500's seven spoke wheels onto a 4.3?

just the cost of the wheels, they are a direct replacement.

OK, so how much should I expect to pay do you reckon for a set of four?

a lot - IF you can find a set, they are now out of production and are like hens teeth to come by second hand.

expect to pay around £100-£150 (probably more) per wheel and that the front and back are different sizes.

you would be better off to go for an aftermarket set - cheaper, easier to get, you can go for even bigger sizes/offsets and you get a touch of individualism.

I've just ordered the spider wheel conversion for my Griff 500, so if you can wait till February, my old set of 7 spokes will be for sale. Excellent condition with 4 nearly new Toyo's on. Reasonable price aswell.

I'd have thought that with all these Spider conversions, there must piles of the old 7-spokes building up, no?
