Something different ?

I know it does sound a bit naff but I have seen a pic of this done to a dark blue Griff with aftermarket (but subtle) alloys. Looked really nice.
Personally though, I think the stripes suit the cerbera more as the lines can run right across the roof and are a bit more continuous. Seen it on the yellow cerb that took part in the gumball/cannonball and really liked that

I think it would look fantastic, but you'd have to consider the following:
The TVR has no race heritage as such (these stripes are often used on 60's & 70's classic or sports cars which have heritage).
Nor do Citroen Saxos many of which also sport 'Le Mans' stripes...
Maybe best with a few other 'race' type mods: bucket seats, stripped interior, big wheels etc.

seriously - I would have thought it would suit the shape of the griff more than the chim if you are thinking of doing it. Still reckon the cerb would be the choice of car for stripes mind.
Just thought i'd rattle the cage... see you at LM

Can I have your honest opinions, good or bad?
I've thought of having some 'Cobra' style white stripes professionally fitted to my dark blue Griff.
I've seen a picture of a Griff with this before and I think it looked superb.
Worked on the old style Griff...

aha!
Good point Podie.
Theres the racing heritage bit for yah!
Well...kind of...Proves my 60's / 70's point though.
Classic Cars ran a feature in their 'Griff' issue (Jan 2003 I think) about what makes a classic classic. They gave the Griffith (The 92-> one, DustyC!) 0/10 for racing heritage which I though was a bit harsh. After all TVR have raced for a long time and the Griff is based on the Tuscan which has nothing but race heritage.
Anyway back to topic, stripes are available as vinyl stickers, so you could have them removed if everyone laughs at you...
