Granada brake conversion
Discussion
Hi guys couple of questions about the above. I've got a set of the 888/887 calipers sat in my garage along with the carriers but don't have the bolts to attach the carriers to the hubs, anyone know the size/spec i need please? Also what pads go with this conversion, is it Granada cosworth to suit the calipers or escort cosworth to suit the 283mm discs?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Hello got EBC Yellow stuff part number which you could cross reference .Im very happy with the 888 887 calipers but went for the 278mm discs with 5mm spacers .You may have to have the discs machined down or file some of the caliper away .Part number
EBC Yellow stuff DP4956R
FORD MONDEO/SCORPIO ESCORT RS COSWORTH /SIERRA RS COSWORTH
Just found my old pads Delphi lockhead these are the numbers on the pad ,very happy with these for road use.

Hello,
In my kits I always supllied m10 x 40 High Tensile bolts.
But some carriers have m12 thread so ofcourse you need M12 x 40 then.
It also depends which discs you use. I used Granada Cosworth 278 mm disc.
But if you use Cossy 2WD 283 mm disc the spacer needed will only be IIRC 2mm so the bolt could be about 10 mm shorter M10 x30.
I hope this helps
