Been busy over xmas, making my new dash...I'm pretty pleased with it. Got fed up of switches retreating into panel etc, and wanted a fresher look...What do you think???
AND
AND

Used some bits from cerbera dash and rest ordered and placed into my new dash, just need some brass button covers for switches and it's there ready to fit...

Looks lovely. What are you doing with the air vents (not that they are much use anyway)?

Are you also going to do the panel on the transmission tunnel?

Nice job - I dont suppose you have any templates you fancy selling? I can't take my dash off without the whole thing cracking to pieces. It would be easier to have a new dash ready before taking the old one off.

Thanks already made transmission tunnel panel:-

Will post more pics when installed. Will not give details on here due to pistonheads advertising, but check out TVR PARTS section, and will see my advert on there (A few months back!)
Just have to re-wire panel to match old loom and then ready to fit...

Hi all I have done this on my Griff, look at my profile.
The dash and control panal was supplyed by V8 Mark.
The quality of the work was 100% and I would recommend him to anyone any time.
The Heater control unit is very hard to fit because you have to take out the old LED lights which are glued in.
Access to undo the two nuts for the control panel are gained by lifting the transmission tunnel up over the handbrake, not an easy job as you have to undo the handbreak tension nut which is in a T**T of a place.
You also need to take care when taking the control panel out not to damage the thin wires connected upto the LED's.
At first I placed the new control dash over the old one taking off all the wood first though, this did look okay but I was not happy with it so I did it the proper way with took about 3 days to do.
I think the car looks a lot more withit now.

Thanks for that Mathew, glad all fitted well in the end. Car looks great (in profile pic).

The switch panel is not too bad, but as mathew states the tricky bit is removing the PCB from the metal plate as TVR in their wisdom glued all LED's to metal and heater switches (solder) break with the most delicate touch.... But worth the end results....
