As above, immediately local to me in town (SW, just Z2) four or five late L405s have disappeared over the last few months and not been replaced by new Range Rovers (think one has been replaced by a Fisker Ocean); one L494 has been replaced by a Cayenne Coupe, two other L494s have been replaced by new Sports. There’s only one regularly street-parked L460, which seems very unusual 18 months in.

i've seen a lot less of them recently, completely anecdotal with no real stats behind it. that said, seen a lot of the new RRS on the road.
Essex based.
Do you mind me asking who you've managed to insure with as I'm Essex based too (Shenfield the 'posh' part of Brentwood) but still can't find insurance for love or money so hesitant to switch from my three year old X7

Admiral. Multicar policy with the RRS and a 992 Turbo S cab.

Anyone care to recommend any insurer? Only quote I can get is £6.5k from Admiral on a multi-car policy…but they refuse to cover one of our other cars at all…and that kinda defeats the objective of a multi-car policy

Car is a yet to be acquired D350 Autobiography

What car are they refusing to cover out of interest?

Try talking to Hagerty. They were very good when adding my wife's MX5 to my classic fleet.

Just insured our Sport (not with Hagerty) for £432 with Tesco. Wife has 6pts, live in Devon, it's a 56 plate Supercharged and 9 years + NCD. Everyone else was looking for £1k+

I assume you have done the usual online comparison sites?

I did a quote through PH recently for an F Type and there were some very competitive quotes, the lowest being under £500 and that was with no no claims. Might be worth a try if you haven't already done that.

Have you tried some of the insurance brokers rather than just the direct insurers, and included your entire fleet in the quote? Some have access to specialist high net worth insurance which may suit your vehicle profile better than the direct insurers with the RR on board.

Routen Chaplin do my multicar policy - Hagerty also good.

This is good advice - I ( and others on PH ) have used Nowell & Richards for years - very good service.

My daughter received a letter from JLR the other day saying they are currently working on improving the security software for her age of L538 Evoque. She has a 2016 facelift (with the updated infotainment), but no keyless entry. The letter suggested that the updates should be available later on this year and will be installed FOC by her local dealer.
In the meantime they enclosed a faraday pouch with the letter.

Unfortunately I suspect my ancient (2013) L494 won't receive any such treatment! laugh

Just had the renewal through for my 2016 Range Rover Autobiography. Admittedly it's rural Devon and low risk, but last year was £1500. This year Tesco want £1007. Very pleased with that.

Been looking for a new car, something like a large SUV.

Intrigued with the FFRR, tested a P400e, liked the space. Insurance for North of Scotland £2500 with 12 years NCD, no points, no claims.

I did, once I saw the price of the hybrid. For the SDV6 it was £2000.

I've ordered a new FFRR D350 Autobiography - at the moment insurance quotes are around £1,080.

Mid thirties, south Northants, 10 years NCB, no claims/points.

Happy with that, I paid more for my used Sport in 2018!
