Having just bought a Range Rover 3.0 TD6, I find I am getting an average of 23mpg, or 520 miles to a full tank. Anyone getting any better (or worse!) than this. Would chipping make much of a difference to the performance and/or economy? Any advice welcome.

I drive a petrol v8, so can only dream of that kind of mpg!!! However, a couple of colleagues at works have had their TD6's chipped (forget the name of the mapping co, but it near Newbury) & claim that the performance has improved dramatically, with absolutely no detrimental affect on fuel consumption

Hmm, always shocks me this one. I get 19 out of mine, which is a V8. Logic always seems to knock on the door saying the diesel is supposed to be hugely economical.... not much of a difference really. scratchchin

Sorry, just thinking aloud, didn't mean to hijack. paperbag

Gary, how did you source your LPG installation?

Recommendation or google?

Could you PM me any details?!
