Fitting a tow bar to my Range Rover...
Discussion
Just spoke to my dealer to ask about getting a tow bar fitted to my 08 Range Rover. Was a bit shocked when they said it would cost about £900 including labour! Is it me or is that rather pricey? Is there a cheaper way to get a tow bar fitted (and before anyone suggests doing it myself, that's not an option as I'd definitely mess it up.)
Hi Gareth - all well thanks - loving the Range Rover - every journey is an occasion etc. The new addition to our family seems to like it too which is handy!
I keep reading about the new XKR - 5 litres and I love the styling tweaks such as the rear lights - and trying to persuade my wife that we can run two cars (tricky because she doesn't drive). You still thinking about buying yours (or similar) back?
Thanks for comments about the tow bar, maybe Guy Salmon aren't so bad after all. For an extra £300 it really is worth my getting them to do the job - I genuinely know that I would mess it up. Re your other suggestion Gareth, appreciate it but my Rangie is going in for some other work which has been booked for a while and from a convenience perspective (they pick the car up etc) it's hard to beat. I think they will probably budge on the £900 as well if I ask.
