I have the phones - what should we be selling????
Discussion
I currently have a 12 person call centre which I use to sell/promote products I am involved in. Currently we are running about 70% capacity which means I have some spare bodies and desks ready to sell all day long.
I am open to suggestions, should I rent out the staff on a daily basis i.e unlimited calls all day for £125 or does anyone have an interesting partnership idea![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I would certainly have been interested a few years ago when I needed qualified sales leads. Back in about 1995 I used a small telesales company with great success - I think it was £1 a call and £2 for an appointment, though I had to supply the data. IIRC I spent about £100 on calls, and got two new clients who over the next few years spent five-figure sums with me.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Tried it again around 2003 and the cheapest deal was £1,000 - no go. Fortunately I now have a business where people come to me so the problem doesn't arise. It's great!
So yes, if you have intelligent people sitting around who can take a brief and understand the key points of a company's products, I'd say you have a very good idea.

Thanks to everyone who has contacted me regarding about this service. I have taken all your feedback into account and think the package provided should include:
Initial telephone interview
Product review and script creation
Potential client lists generated
Full day, unlimited sales calls
All leads delivered by email
For the complete service we would charge £125 per day fully inclusive.
Thoughts appreciated![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)

OK thanks to everyone who spent time chatting to me allowing me to put together our call packages. The website is almost finished so I was once again hoping for some feedback on the site layout and most of all does it fully communicate what were selling?

I may be interested in this in the new year once we work out where to concentrate some of our efforts. At the rates you're quoting one booking from a days calling would be worthwhile.
I would suggest a very detailed proof read of the text on the site is an urgent priority, as even after a few beers I have spotted a number of mistakes in spelling and think there would be room for improvement in some of the grammar.

Thanks for the feedback, I should have mentioned the text is getting a complete rewrite on Monday. Glad to hear you think the prices are good I would suggest a very detailed proof read of the text on the site is an urgent priority, as even after a few beers I have spotted a number of mistakes in spelling and think there would be room for improvement in some of the grammar.
