copyrite

Hail all knowledgeable ones,

I'm thinking of producing some Christmas cards and prints for sale to my local car club.

I have a design, 'cartoonized' photographs of recognisable cars.

Does anyone on here know how I would go on with copyrite for these?

e.g. Fararri, Napier Railton, Jaguars and MG's. They are my own photographs I 'messed' around with by the way. I have changed the colour on one or two, but you can still tell what they are.

If they're original photos then the copyright is yours - no need to assert it in any way, although many do.

Only way you might get into trouble is if you included additional manufacturer badges on the design or in sought in some way to pass off the finished items as being from/endorsed by the marques concerned.

Think there's a thread in the photography forum that goes into further detail.

Sorry if my original post wasn't clear: you don't need to delete ones that are already on the car... just avoid including extra ones as part of your card design.
