Looking for a commercial investor with experience of either the motor industry or web based business

Is there anyone in here looking for a new exciting project not been done by anyone anywhere? or if not know of anyone who maybe interested?

Do you invest in particular types of companies? I am looking for investment for a product launch, the first of three childrens products. My accountant is verifying numbers at the moment, we're considering sflgs but are also open to equity investment (a friends and family round)- are you certified hnwi or a sophisticated investor under FSA rules?

I'm a private investor. I actually started doing it when i invested into a business for a friend's bro when he was at uni, it went quite well and i started getting business plans sent to me. I get about 50 per year and investinto probably 3 max, usually 1 or 2 as i don't like big risks.

Done pretty well from it, but if its a business i simply can't get my head around (because i know literally nothing about the product or industry) then i won't invest at all, no matter who good the idea may seem. I need to be 100% comfortable the people and product will work.

I would be interested, but I take the same view as Stimmers and I can't confirm 100% that I will invest but I would certainly be tempted. I have extensive knowledge of the motor industry too. email me at [e-mail].
