Complete novice, had some very useful pointers and well aware of being-seen-off type scenario.

Oddly its something been on 'list of thing to try' would like to join a club possibly best plan, but thought I'd pick collectif brain here, as its often good source of gorm'

What might cost be does anyone know
to ring a broker or however it works and buy or sell,
I assume perhaps wrongly its a commision on work they carry out perhaps on percentage value of said shares
again no idea very early days of course

for now at least thee cash stays firmly in the bank,
I was only looking for a hobby which may even pay its way, as I say i'm in no rush or position for that matter to throw cash about on a whim,
for novices at least it can only be a luck issue and mines not that good lately.

I will however look at the suggestions mentioned as it still intrigues me

I'd just like some guidance really, I read your comments elsewhere about first attempts should be a positive one, and quite fancied a (moderate) try myself.

Honestly I'd sooner resume drinking and PIUTW, the way my luck goes.
