HTC are different from iMate, even if most iMate's are manufactured by HTC, or very closely related.

You may get away with a dodgy rom, but chances are you won't, and get stung by a hefty bill. I'm not telling anyone what to do or not to do, I'm merely pointing out the two sides of the coin. And HTC can be quite quirky to deal with at times.

OK, I had a chance to play with the N95 the other day and its rather nice.

However nobody seems to have the tytn in stock on the high street. Will I look like a total idiot (or rather more of an idiot)if I use one as a normal phone due to its (presumably massive) size.
