Indeed - I think you were spot on!

Thanks for the "good luck" messages - still waiting - grrrrrr

My machine was hitting temperatures of 70oC thanks to the GeForce4 card during the heatwave - never failed though . Had no choice as I was revising! I have 250W and it copes with 2xHDD, DVD, CDRW, GeF4, AMD1200.

Although the 1200 will become 2400 soon

Cheers Ernest - sadly I need one pronto, but they look excellent - their "PSU Selector" tool is pretty useful as well

Bingo! - bought a 450W QTEC jobby from Overclockers. Works a treat

Was tempted by the ebuyers bargain, but slightly worried about it sounding like a helicopter...
