if its a bridge its doesn't matter what subnet its on, that only matters if its routing. The IP is only there for management purposes as its web based and you need to be able to talk to it.

Thanks. Things appear to be working.

Sagem replaced with Netgear DG834G. Connected to the linksys extender and WPA PSK just enabled and all is still working.....
Now print off your config and notes, save it in a bomb proof safe and have a coffee thumbup
Thanks, I think I need it. 2 days pissing about, just to improve network coverage.

I seriously wonder how the "average" non tech would have a hope of doing this sort of thing?! I struggled, and have worked in IT/Networks for 15 years!

Same here years of networking but that stty product nearly defeated me, I'll presume your linksys has the built in ethernet port?
Now try thinking what you have done but only using wireless to configure! I'm still shuddering so much so I'm going to have a coffee to strengthen my nerves biggrin

Be prepared for the rebooting now that its configured as that POS keeps locking up for no reason wink

hmm, no ethernet port would have probably resulted in its destruction!
