its quite a bit wider than my Husband's Desire.
on topic:
Being a Milestone owner, I still think it measures up against the newer lot.
I wouldn't hesitate to get a Milestone 2 if necessary (don't know if they are out yet).
Although the Desire HD sounds very very good, since I got rid of my iPhone I don't think I will be going back to working without a physical keyboard any time soon.
If anyone is after a Nexus One, I have one for sale. It's not getting much use given my massive excess in phones, and as long as I can jailbreak my iPhone 4, I won't be going back to Android.
It was the most disappointing Linux experience I've ever had - where the *feck* did the userland go? A cracked iPhone is a more credible Unix device than Android. Nobody told me it was built like an embedded distro. Running busybox is *really* lame when you're used to zsh or even bash on the iPhone OS.
The Nexus One *is* nice though. And it's not owned by any network, and until Apple stepped up their game with the 4, it was the phone with the best industrial design ever IMO. The iP4 beats it. Nothing else does, as far as I can tell - they're either iP4 me-toos or clumsy 'more is more' attempts. The N1 took the best bits of the best design, used better materials than Apple, and then replaced the single button (duff) with a trackball that can display different colours. That was a masterstroke and the only thing I'd change on the iPhone 4 - though Apple won't go there now after their experience with the Mighty Mouse (even though I reckon it's an engineering problem and not a design problem)...
Anyway, it's for sale. Unless anyone can convince me to hang onto it as a collector's item etc.

Got it - will get back to you shortly - been working till 3am this morning, just knackered now. Comes with all bits etc. - I've hacked and rooted it, if that's a problem, are you of hacker persuasion or do you want a bog-standard phone?Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
