Anyone jumped ship from iPhone to WP7? How has the transition been? Are you missing anything feature/ syncing wise?
I only use iCloud for contact and calendar syncing. I could deal with doing this differently. Does it sync with the contacts?
I was using iPhones before but held my calendars and contacts on Live. I believe you can sync your iPhone contacts and calendars with the Windows Live extra applications and then copy these to your Windows Phone, but you would need to have a google for the process.I only use iCloud for contact and calendar syncing. Hardware wise it is probably the only phone with the same feeling of design and build quality as an iPhone and IMO is functionally superior. App wise I haven't found anything that either wasn't available or for which I couldn't find a decent alternative.

My finger is hovering over the "Order Now" button for a Lumia 800, but wondering if the Samsung G2S is perhaps a better option.
Somebody convince me that I need another Nokia and that Windows Phone is just as capable as Android.
The only reason I haven't already ordered a Lumia 800 is that the Lumia 900 is coming in hopefully less than two months. I know it's not vastly superior, but I just want.Somebody convince me that I need another Nokia and that Windows Phone is just as capable as Android.

Side by side, the phones are very similar. The most noticeable difference being the screen size, an increase from 3.7" to 4.3". But the impact that has on battery life is terrible.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of the L900 vs. L800

Well I just went and bought a shiney new one yesterday (and it is still shiney)
Beats a blackberry for push mail (only by a second or 2 )
Like the calendar integration with different email accounts (hotmail and exchange)
Quite heavy/solid
Easy lock system. once to lock push and swipe to unlock
Keyboard is a bit tiny for my fingers, but getting used to it. (good in landscape mode)
It is missing some easy access buttons and i dont like that there is no led indicator for missed calls/messages/emails etc

Nokia Drive and Nokia maps were updated today. Maps now does traffic and Drive has speed limits, full offline mode, better destination history and some additional display options. It's very good for the asking price of no pounds and no pence.
I've had mine for a few days and today.was the first time I tried using maps. There are no voices installed and I can't install them.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
