All these androids are making me want to have a play with my partners phone more and more. I think he would kill me as its slow and enough already.

To break up the android have some iPhone

Animated weather on my home screen, so it changes a lot
Nice to see some variation, is it an iPhone 5? How's the jailbreak hanging in there?
Tried to do some customisation on a colleagues iPhone 4 but it slowed it down no end frown.

As for your partners' android phone, see if you can get novalauncher on there (what phone is it?), it often runs smoother than the stock launcher.

Nice. Details?
Nokia 520 WM8.

Weatherflow background with calendar active.

Also allowed all notifications to display on screen.

Would show main tile screen but has personal pics on it.

Oh wow was just playing with homescreen settings and discovered that I had an expired trial version. Bought full fat looks nice.

This looks very clean TRD.

I would mess with my nexus but really can't be arsed to as I like the stock look.
Thanks!

I've got rid of the Note 2 now, and have a Nexus 4, and I know what you mean (partly why I bought it really), the only thing I've done so far is stick Nova Launcher on, and use the Xperia Z live wallpaper.... so its hardly worth putting it up really, because it looks like a cross between an xperia Z and a stock Nexus 4 hehe But I like it!

Don't live wallpapers shag battery life? I've avoided using them so far...

I've had them on for a while, (earth HD), didn't notice the battery-life shagging too much tbh.

Some of the crap ones do... A decent one, not really noticeable tbh

It is indeed the 5. No noticeable slow down and it still has 600mb ram free despite the amount of tweaks and theming I run.

It's a HTC one XL (the beats one) and its not great. Battery drains within 4/5 hours and it takes forever to actually do anything.
Serves him right though he said my iPhone battery would be crap, mine can easily go a day if not longer with no charge tongue out
I'll have a look at putting nova launcher on if he will let me.

I like my home screen uncluttered. I don't see the need for a weather widget when I can look out a window.

I don't see the need for a task killer either, when Android does a perfectly good job itself tongue out

Unused ram is wasted ram...

Although I still run autokiller memory optimiser on my dhd and N10...

I use it to quickly kill programs I've used. Some programs have convoluted closing down processes. Who wants to press back 10 times when you can just kill it in 2 presses?

To be honest its for rage quitting games.

Thanks. To be honest I'm using the Buzz Launcher there which takes all the hard work out of it!

I used to fiddle with my Atrix all the time but not to the extent I am with my Nexus 4. Great piece of kit.

I can confirm now, at least one doesn't. wink
I have the Wave live wallpaper - love it and it's had no discernable effect on battery life. Liking it too. cool

Anyone tried Forest HD? Looks nice but after trying the Sunrise one I'm a bit put off. That looked great but made the phone feel slow and juddery!
