They emailed me the other day to say I was reaching the limit on my 2.5 GB storage and would need to pay for more space or I wouldn't be able to add any more photos.

Thing is I haven't logged on in at least 12 months and not uploaded a photo in longer!

may pop on and move the photo's if I can to my icloud account.

(Edit to comply with posting rules)

What a beautiful example of irony when discussing the crass removal of content by hosting services

You could search all my posts for links to Vimeo and delete them all, after all that would be true to the revised 2018 PH posting rules

Just digging this old one up to take the opportunity to

"THANK PH VERY MUCH !" for using Thumbsnap
to help me explain my problems that the 600K words
of the English language just couldn't cover.

Seeing this reminded me to do something about the "you're over your limit" emails I get periodically.

Only trouble is, whilst I can login, the site is in such a state I can't see any photos or delete my account rolleyes

I honestly can believe photobucket is still in existence. When they fked up all my PH stuff and other forums by not allowing remote link to other sites and trying to rip people of I was convinced they would go under.

I do wonder how many people went back after they did a 180. I certainly didn’t. I still have an account I suppose but only because at the time they made it near impossible to login and delete your account.

One of the greatest feats of corporate suicide this century.

I wonder what happened to the fool who brought the plan in?

Iirc, the boss of the firm at the time pushed for it. It was his master plan.

This thread prompted me to log on to my account and see what I actually had on there, but it appears that whilst I can log in, the website itself is completely broken and I can't see any of the images. I'm genuinely interested as I have 1.1k images on there, but I don't remember uploading that many! I'm interested to see what they are.

Does not appear to be working right now...though it was fine until a couple of days ago.

Returned to Flickr at a higher position and with a new jet ski?

Was finally able to login today and delete my account smile

Amusingly it asks why you want to delete your account... hehe

Indeed, the mind boggles. It's like PH saying tomorrow that it's £500 a year to use the site or you're not allowed to use it anymore, starting at 9am tomorrow.
