Phone up who? The store?

I've just called CS to try and get my account sorted, but she is adamant there is no iPhone 4's in O2 at all, even though people seem to be getting calls with them being offered. Regardless of all of the crap O2 have done on my account, they're not willing to treat it as a 'special case' and do something for me.
No, phone up O2 general enquiries/customer services (or whatever they call it) and go through to upgrades - 0844 809 0202

The bloke I was on the phone to this morning said that he had an e-mail that he just received (9am) confirming that they have plenty of stock, as there had been rumors (both internal and external) they did not. He guaranteed my phone before 12 tomorrow. Seems weird she was being so insistent of none to you. I'll wait to be so sure until it's in my hands tomorrow, though smile

No idea. I'm a gold customer, and out of contract so guess I'm pretty clear on that front, but can't see why it should restrict anyone else.

To be honest, it was all pretty painless (sorry hehe ) - I phoned, asked if had stock, he said yes, I confirmed what I wanted and that was it. At the end of the call I was a bit puzzled "oh, right, we're done then? Nothing else? No, urrrmmmm, ok, thanks!"

It does seem like I was lucky in who I got. Li,Monkey - sounds like it should be ok for you tomorrow then smile

Okgo - what do they say when you say "I want to pay off my 6month contract at £20/month".

I wouldn't bother coming to bluewater for anyone checking stock, currently number 15ish in a Q of around 100+. Oh and they're only processing 1 at a time.
eek

I checked this morning as well and considered going afterwork as they were showing stock.

Friend of mine queued at BlueWater yesterday for 6 hours, said she had an absolutely brilliant time - people were buying lego and building it in the queue, Krispy Kreme and the Shake Shack were supplying food and drink - was a great time, she said.

She's far from a geek, but thought she'd embrace it and really enjoyed!

Just had to double check how I hold my current 3G - I'm left handed, but don't cover the bottom left. Still interesting problem though!

Yes. In the settings, you can select an outlook address book to sync your contacts with (it's what I do and works well).

Jimmy, what 'colour' customer are you?

gold, silver, platinium etc?
The chap said I was a Gold customer.
Ok mate,

what number did you call?
Hi mate,
I called 0844 809 0202, with the keypad options I went to the buying or upgrading, then to upgrading.
Yep, that's exactly what I did.

No probs smile Feel free to post if you have any more questions.

I sync my contacts and calendar via iTunes on my work PC, and then sync all my music, playlists, podcasts, applications etc. via iTunes on my home PC and it works very well.

Are you sure? On the phone to o2, they said they can't do that??
I've done exactly that. £9.99 got me saturday delivery, otherwise as standard it would be Monday. 100% definite.

I want it now, not Monday!!
Snap - hence I coughed up (would cost me that in petrol just to get to a store, so wasn't bothered hehe ). Besides, they HAVE to post it to the registered address, not work address, so no one would have been in!

WTF! They've just said they don't do that... Shall I say well TonyHetherington did it! hehe

Said they use DHL and they don't deliver on a Saturday?
How utterly confusing!? The guy volunteered the information too - I said "MONDAY, noooooo, I want it now!" and he gave me the option.

Sorry hehe

Yeah I paid £9.99 for it, or Monday would have been free.

Are you a gold/blue/silver/orange/beige/brown customer? Maybe that makes a difference. I'm gold, but I have no idea where that is in the pecking order, or if it even matters.

on hold now.
10mins if that.

Even on non iPhone days, I've found this is the worst time to phone - everyoen does it during their lunch.

Does anybody have any idea why iTunes does not see my iPhone? The phone is chanrging via USB but no device appers in iTunes frown
Have you only literally just plugged the phone in? Sometimes it can take some mins of charging before it has enough power to turn on

Don't mention that to Mr Trophy.
