couldn't get in ph for 3 days!

something to do with system administrater denied access.?????/This is a home pc. I couldnt get into PH for 3 days. Thought my pc was broken.
Oh yeah when i went to the tools tab on my browser and pressed internet options it says " this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer, please contact your system administrater"......
It still says that every time i go tools, internet options. Any ideas or could you move to the pc forum please.
Just tried now on the off chance and got through.

See here for the reasons PH has been unavailable.

As for your restrictions on your Internet options, is it a work or ex-work PC as that message is usually associated with the locking down of security settings.

bilko I thought my comp was broken too - and wasted many hours restoring it to another date...doing virus scans etc.

The downturn inconveniently followed ne doing a Windows update download...so I naturallly thought that was at fault.

Best advice I can give...is to ask a fellow PHer if the site is down and wait for their reply next time

I deduced it was a problem with PH because every other website worked *except* for PH.

It's when Google doesn't load that there's a problem elsewhere!
