Search the web?

Anyone ever have a problem with a thing called search the web? a few of my sites Yahoo,and e-bay in particular seem to be infected whan i click on them a grey screen called search the web appears and i cant go no further, i have to disconnect from the internet and restart to get back online, anyone know what i can do to get rid of this problem before it drives me mad?
