This is doing my head, anyone has any advise how to blocks these pops ups ?

I used both Sybots as well as Adaware SE to clean out Spyware and the like, but still get ads for online casinos, cheap Viagra and offer to download shite......

Any advises or program to stop this ?

get Mozilla to use as your browser, and download adblock (all for free). I think you can find it at www.mozilla.org

You've used spyware cleaners because you get popups without even visiting a site? Or only as a result of viewing a web page?

Anyway, another recommendation for Firefox from me.

No I made the mistake of downloading Kaaza months ago and got all the spyware shite bundled in.

Although I used Adaware and Spybot to remove at best I still get too many pops up and 'Offers from Gain Publishing'.

I just installed the Google bar and it is quite good at stoping pops ups....

I'll give Firefox a try, can I still use both IE and Firefox if I download Firefox ?

Yes of course. IE is still available, even if Firefox is your default browser.

Yes. You still need IE anyway for doing your 'Windows Update', and you might encounter the occassional site which doesn't get on with Firefox, but it's VERY rare these days.

But you won't want to go back anyway - tabbed browsing, mouse gestures (a plugin), dynamic bookmarks are all v. useful.

Firefox - definitely.

If you absolutely must stay with IE (and at this point I would like to remind you again of Firefox) the Google Toolbar is very effective.
