I was just sent a file from someone over MSN Messenger, it's someone I trust so I didnt ask him what it was and then opened it, it didnt load anything which I was a bit suspicious about. I seems that this automatically spreads through your contact list, sending a file to each contact, the file name alternates between "webcam.pif" and "naked_drunk".

IF YOU GET SOMETHING LIKE THIS DO NOT ACCEPT IT.

Regards
Hugh

I left my PC logged into MSN messenger one night. I came into work the next day with about 20 extra icons on the desktop and loads of spyware. I had to reformat the disk to get rid of it. This is despite have up to date AV and a firewall. I have now uninstalled MSN messenger....

Does this go over the Trillian system as well?
I've disabled MSN Messenger anyway to use Trillian.
