This should probably be in t'other forum (Sorry, Ted) but I could use a quick reply!

I'm trying to access my Gmail email account but apparently cookies aren't enabled.

According to IE, however, they are.

I do have a firewall which occaisionally gets confused and messes things up, but closing that momentarily doesn't help.

Does anybody have any ideas on what to do?

www.firefox.com

not necessarily better, but much more configurable and can be un-installed, re-installed when something goes wrong.

As for your IE problem, try wiping out your temp cache and all the cookies and see what happens (tools-internet options and it's in there, failing that do it manually via c:\ documents and settings \ your username \ Local Settings \ Temporary Internet Files )

Yep - It seems all I needed was a good old cookie flush!

Cheers very much.

Would also recommend firefox as a LOT of spyware which downloads when you access a website is targeted at vunerabilities in IE, with Firefox you experience fewer of these problems.
