Someone has been messing with my

And now I can't use anything that uses Java, which is rather annoying. I've looked in all the usal places but can't see anything wrong.

The Javascript console is saying the error is that event is not defined. Anybody got any ideas? It's driving me mad.

Have you checked your security settings (tools - internet settings - security tab - custom level - check Java is enabled) as Java could be disabled.

Are you using Internet Explorer?, if so which version? (help - about - and it lists version).

It could possibly be that spyware has changed something, this is higly probable if you are using internet explorer.

It's the same on Firefox, Netscape and IE. I've checked all the settings and they seem fine. Java doesn't work here either. But did on that link PoD posted.

If I was you I would completley uninstall Java, run SpySweeper (without a doubt the best anti-spyware program out there), delete the Java registry keys and go for a clean install from the link POD provided.
