Haylp!!

My PC has started locking up etc at random and has just spent a half hour or so refusing to boot up. When it finally did the screen was all flickery and unusable and then it crashed again (white screen with 50Hz or something written across it).

Anyhow, I suspect the graphics card as I remember it being blamed for a crash by XP a week or so ago. That plus wobbly screen equals graphics card?! So, I've been to PC world and bought a graphics card. Before I opened it I give the pC one last chance and it boots up perfect. What gives?

Can I take my new graphics card back unopened or shall I keep it on standby for when this one goes pop?

Whatever is failing is probably failing due to heat... leave it warm up again and see what happens...
