Getting my PC to act as a network hub?
Discussion
Right, due to my router issues documented elsewhere, I have a house full of internet starved housemates!
The ADSL modem supplied by my ISP, connects to my lappy by USB and works fine.
Elsewhere, we have an 8-port switch; is there anything I can do to get my PC to act as a router? In effect, I want to share my connection with everyone via the switch
Obviously, this only really works as an temporary solution, but If I can get it to work, it would get them off my back!
Cheers in advance!

Fire one of them off to get a new router. They don't cost THAT much.
But, yes. Turn on Internet Connection Sharing. Connect all of them to the switch, connect your PC to the switch, go.
Of course, you're opening your machine up to the big wide world and any nasties their machines might have picked up from 'inappropriate surfing'.
