PC with Windows XP

Im needing to add 1 additional PC to my work network, basic entry level Pcs are suitable for us but I would want Windows XP and not Vista, first Vista is on my home PC and I do not like it secondly all my other PC are Windows XP so it suits to have the other one match.

I know dell do it and was about to buy a new PC, 19" Monitor with XP for about £ 350 delivered but then found out despatch time is 3 weeks which does not suit.

Will PC World supply me with XP instead of Vista, Looking on their site it would appear not but wonder if it can be done in store, any other ideas to get a budget model ?

Hoping to get it for start of next week !

Have a look at the usual suspects..

i.e. Dabs, Ebuyer, Misco to name but a few..

I'd watch PC World and changing the OS, if you do it, it may well invalidate the warranty (any excuse!) and it could end up costing you..

Three weeks, is that from Dell? I was just about to buy one but don't want to wait 3 weeks. May be it has something to do with build problems? See this thread.
