alt-print screen works too.
one does the entire screen the other just does the active window. i cant remember which is which though.

Hitting print screen or ctrl + print screen grabs whole desktop
Alt + Print Screen grabs only the active window.

Whatever method you use, please save it in .PNG format or maybe .JPG - not .BMP!
