Which free DVD 9 to 5 software ?

I'm after some software to rip/decode a regular DVD (9) and to burn to an image before burning onto a DVD 5 (regular single layer disc).

Ideas please, must be free and for Windoze

I've tried the latest version of dvd decrypter or whatever they've changed the name to - but this particular feature is only available on the full version

I have an 18 month old version of the tool but I can't see an easy way to do what I wan. I may not be looking hard enough
