I currently have about 5 folders being shared wirelessly to my Xbox 360. I wanted to add another couple of folders but when I go to do this on my laptop, they do not show up on the xbox.

I have found out that that the only difference between the ones that work and the ones that don't is that in the permissions the ones that do work have uuid:61187056-2605-2000-0000-00125ac7e339 as a user that is allowed to change.

When I go to add that user to the new folders it says it is unable to locate it, even though the xbox is switched on and connected wirelessly to the laptop through the wireless network that they both run from.

As its quite specific I didn't really know what to search for in Google to find an answer so was wondering if anyone here knew what it might be?

Thank you.

What version of media player do you have?

i think you need to add them in media player itself. I think it is in the library options.

11 I think. I just checked and the Xbox is listed in the sharing. I don't know how to add those extra files in media player though. Is there a specific way?

I can view the sharing options in the library section of options but it doesn't seem to let me add any more files.
