Sony DVD Camcorder - burning DVD's - help
Discussion
Can anyone help..
I've posted this in Photography and Video as well - not sure If I'm allowed to post the same subject in two categories but I'll take moderator guidance - but i think the probelm crosses the boundaries.
Three years ago now I took the family on the 'holiday of a lifetime' to Thailand and Australia. It was all recorded using a Sony DVD camcorder (state of the art at the time) and rewriteable DVD's. As the DVD on the camcorder filled I'd download on to my laptop PC and re-use the DVD.
I thought this was the best idea at the time. The camcorder came with this Pixela s/w to edit the video captures and put together a 'video' to burn to DVD....except I could never get the DVD to burn successfully.
I did a search at the time and there did seem to be a history of problems using this Pixela s/w but to be honest I got bored with the time expended trying to solve the problem.
I'm now getting nagged by my kids asking to see the video of their holiday. I have the (probably) proprietary IMV extension files on my PC but no means of getting these on to a DVD.
Does anyone out there have any suggetions as to how I could get these files burnt to a DVD so at least they could see each video capture?
If anymore info is required please let me know and I'll try and find out
