I'm trying to set up my webmail account on my phone and it has asked me for some settings. I think it's a POP3 account, but what would be my incoming mail server?

It wants to know SMTP settings as well.

Who's your ISP?

generally its pop3.ispname.com etc..

Your ISP should have the information you are homoing looking for.

SMTP will be something along the lines of smtp.ispname.com etc..

OR you could set yourselve up a googlemail account and put that information into that, then download the mobile tool and use this on your phone.

so www.googlemail.com

then

http://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/mobile/stp-js.htm...

easy...

It's my business webmail from my site I'm trying to set up on my phone. I tried what you put above and it didn't work.

How are you doing, young man?

I'm doing okay thanks Steve. And you?

Ah ha, try marksroofing.co.uk as the pop3.

But really set up a google account and use that to pull down your e-mails its so much simpler, then add the mobile tool on your phone and your laughing.

Just ask your ISP / Host.. it's what you pay them forwink

On all of our accounts its simple..

Mail.yourdomain.com for incoming and outgoing.
