Just a heads up really, I was paying 48.50 a month for my broadband and home phone. With a call to BT saying I could go elsewhere for cheaper (Plus.Net) they knocked the whole lot down to the phone £10.50 and broadband £9.99 then they upgraded me to the latest Homehub and phone for free.

One call saves me nearly £30 a month smile

The guy was honest on the phone and was saying they can't afford to lose customers in this climate, they wil try to beat any genuine offers from competitors.

Sounds great. Wait till they start to screw up and you will be better pushing a hot needle through your ear lobe with a ball of string attached to the person that you want to speak to eek

Now go and find Virgin or another competitor and ask them to beat it... and they probably will hehe

Interesting.

I'm looking at ways to cut my bills now we've had notice of redundancy.

Been meaning to do it for a while - but never go around to it.

Time to cut my Sky to the £27 / month deal and sort my internet.

Sky still looks attractive, though.
