Is there possibly any slower programmes to install than sony erricson pc suite? For goodness sake hurry up!!!

It also won't work properly if Firefox is your main browser - or wouldn't on my PC.

Sony Ericsson PC software is famed for being poor in just about every respect - most pre-release testing agents refuse(d) to actually check it, such was/is the overall crappyness of it.

Forget the SE PC suite it is utter dogshyte

If it is to down and upload anything onto your phone memory card just use a card reader it cannot be stressed how much easier this is. If your PC doesn't have a card reader they cost very little.

I have a 4GB M2 card and with the adapter everything can be down or uploader using a reader - even for a computer numpty like me.

There is no alternative software for mac users either.
Although with some mac os jiggery pokery I can now sync my w910i with iTunes, all my calender and address book.

Still no way to update the phones software though.
Unless anyone knows a way?

Used to have this problem. Bought a bluetooth dongle for my laptop, never looked back.

Probably the most useful accessory I have bought in the last 5 years.

Well it did finally load & seems to work fine but sooo slow to install. SP1 on the same laptop installed quicker. Unbelievable

Do you really need to use it? I've got a C902, and when you hook it up with the cable it just appears as any removable drive would and you can just drag and drop stuff onto it.
