running nod32 antivirus which is pretty good. just detected a virus which has been blocked but i keep pressing terminate and I keep getting a security warning and real antivirus with following link appearing

is this genuine if I click free check or is it all part of the virus con.

computer is ok apart from this.

don't click the link although the pop up probably means its too late anyway...

oh and please don't ask people if dubious links are ok because some darn fool will click to see what you are on about and the mods won't be happy..

link removed from 1st post just incase.

everything seems fine at the moment. what should I do. Pop up is saying

"warning! security report.

your computer is infected! it is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool"

oh and desktop background keeps turning black with a warning message saying similar emblazoned all over it.

Google it anf follow the instructions to manually remove it. It's malware.

Its very like a nasty trojan I had about three months ago. Took allsorts of shenannigans to rid it from my pooter. My avg full edition didn't stop it despite being fully up to date and active in the browser

Yep, AVG failed me also, now using avast!
