Blackberry pearl. how do i move contacts to SIM card

headline kinda says it all. New Blackberry arrived today, but all my contacts are on my handset, none on the simcard.

anyone advise if i can move them all over to the SIM (not one at a time!).

You can't, it's a pain in the arse.

Your best bet is to sync with Outlook or similar then sync back to the new phone.

I still can't work out how Blackberry managed to make the Pearl quite so bad. Still, you should count yourself lucky yours still actually works.

Found new BB software disc. Has everything on it to back up the old, and load onto the new.

What makes you say that?

I used to sort out pearl problems for the company that I worked for (250 of them) and rarely saw any problems.

The only issue was that the track balls occasionally got clogged up with fluff but that was easy to fix.

If i knew that i wouldnt have needed a new one!

How do you fix it, i'll clean my old up just in case

I have cleaned loads of them, just make sure you are really delicate otherwise you will break it!

New one is all set up now. Only has 2 or 3 signal bars whereas the old one had 5.

(And i haven't move house in the last 2 hours)

Check with version of the OS they are running mate.

Not sure if I am looking at the right thing but..
BB 4.5.0 Core Applications
BB 4.5.0 System Software


When I look at status it has signal strength -94dbm

I would get both of them running side by side to see if there is difference with both on. It could be a network issue.

I'll rob the SIM card out the porsche tomorrow.

Pain as for the last 5 years I have had maximum signal in the house. Now its 35-50%

Appreciate the help.
