I used to regularly get around 200 +/- SPAM e-mails most days. They were well filtered and put into a seperate place by my system but still needed to check through them before deleteing them.

Since returning after the Christmas break I now get around 5 +/- a day.

Has something happened ? Where have all the Spammers gone ? Don't get me wrong I more than happy but why ?

No more "Get rich quick" "Loose weight fast" "Incraese the size of your manhood" "Cheap prescription meds" " Cheap Degrees" etc.

Thanks

One of the main servers that sent out SPAM was shut down, so a slight blip in the SPAM going out. All should return back to norn in a months smile

Your ISP probably has stronger filter rules on its MTAs which are purging mail before it even gets to you.

Ive had the same thing - I now have no idea how to pleasure my woman with my newly enhanced penis. My junk mail was like the oracle on those matters.

I commented on this earlier in January.

Quite incredible what a difference just shutting down one server has made.

<UBERNERD>SPAM is a tinned meat, made by Hormel Foods. Spam is unsolicited commercial email</UBERNERD>

I seem to be getting a lot of those no-body, no-subject mails at the moment.

And a lot of Hebrew spam. I didn't even know my computer could display Hebrew until I started getting those.

Might as well go the whole hog and stick a picture of Karen Matthews on it.

I used Freeads a few months back to sell a car. Since then my level of spam mail has gone barmy.
I downloads Spambully from Downloads.com. Lets check if it works.

A forum I'm on has been subjected to a mega-spam attack. The members reckon it is being organised by some disaffected elements out there.

Seems that SPAM levels are back to normal, been receiving somewhere in the region of 75 to 100 a day the past few days, glad the Spam Filter is decent.
