Is anyone else having problems trying to access their gmail account? I've been trying for about 20 mins but keep getting a server error. Anyone else got this problem? It's a bit of a pain in the arse.

This could be quite damaging for google then, alot of confidence in their service will be lost. My money is on some sort of hack by microsoft.

Just managed to get my emails using my ipod touch, so if anyone has an ipod I assume you can get yours too.

The more worrying thing is what has caused the problem and why ? (we shall be told in due course no doubt) Worrying too that "maybe" some blackhat could have access to a lot of emails now and of course sensetive information. A LOT of confidence will have def been lost today for google and will only benefit their main competitors like Yahoo etc... Worrying too that they temselves do not know what caused the problem...

btw you can now use gmail offline. If you go to google labs you need to install google gears. But at least in the rare event it goes down you can access older emails

POP and IMAP access is still working just fine, it's just the website that doesn't work.
