After years of saying I did`nt want one of these I now have one and am really quite pleased with it.

Now, some of the albums I have loaded into iTunes do not have the album artwork available. So, I have gone into Google images, found image of relevant album cover and loaded into iTunes and then onto iPod. Brilliant I thought - until I went to play an album and only the first track of the CD had the album image. Albums where iTunes can find the artwork have the image on all tracks when playing.

Anyone come across this too and know how to apply the images to the whole of an album?

call it "folder.jpg" and put it in the folder of the album, it then will stay (should do)

iTunes CAN get artwork for you though, when in your music list, right click and click "get artwork" or similar (im not near iTunes)

I used the "get album artwork" option in iTunes and in some cases iTunes just could`nt find it at all.

If you want the album art to be displayed on an iPod you need to incorporate it in the mp3/aac files. The latest version MS media player can find jpg files in the same folder.

You can add the pictures manually in iTunes. I've not got the software installed at work so I cannot tell you how.

When you added the artwork did you just select the first song of the album?

I usually highlight all of the appropriate songs from that album, right click, add the artwork manually and done.
